Raf and Julie, a couple on the verge of breaking up, find themselves in an emergency ward bordering on collapse on the evening of a Parisian Yellow Vest protest. Their encounter with Yann, an angry and injured demonstrator, will shatter each person's certainties and prejudices. Outside, the tension escalates.

The Divide is a 2021 French comedy-drama film directed by Catherine Corsini, co-written by Corsini, Agnès Feuvre and Laurette Polmanss. It follows a night in a Parisian hospital, where injured Raf and her wife Julie, find themselves in the middle of a overcrowded night with many yellow vest rioters injured by the police, such as Yann.
