A bounty hunter pursues a former Mafia accountant who embezzled $15 million of mob money. He is also being chased by a rival bounty hunter, the F.B.I., and his old mob boss after jumping bail.
Midnight Run is a 1988 American action comedy film directed by Martin Brest from a screenplay by George Gallo. It stars Robert De Niro, Charles Grodin, Yaphet Kotto, John Ashton, Dennis Farina and Joe Pantoliano. In the film, bounty hunter Jack Walsh attempts to flee New York City to Los Angeles after he captures accountant Jonathan Mardukas (Grodin), who is wanted by mob bosses and the FBI.
